Attached you will find information pertaining to our “Introduction to Ham Radio” Level One: Technician training.  It will be held May 1 at First Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro.

Training and ARRL Ham Radio License Manual: 
 $50.00
Training and Exam only: 
 $25.00 (for those who already have the manual)

• This course is designed for anyone interested in obtaining a Level One (Technician)
Ham Radio License.

• No previous radio or disaster relief experience is necessary.

• The course will conclude with participants taking the Technician’s License exam on
Sunday afternoon.

Location: First Baptist Church of Upper Marlboro

Overnight housing (disaster relief-style) is available at the church for both
Friday and Saturday night, for those wishing to bring their own bedroll to sleep
on the floor. Indoor shower facilities are available at the church.
Time: May 1, Friday 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
May 2, Saturday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
May 3, Sunday 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Cost: $50.00 (includes instruction, examination and manual)
$25.00 (for those who already have the manual)
