[SMCARA] K3HKI repeater is down (PLEASE READ)

Folks,

  We made a command decision today to remove the SMCARA 146.64 MHz 2-meter
repeater from service and take it to the repeater hospital for major
surgery.  The amplifier has terminally failed and we needed to get it
(the repeater) to a location where we have the correct test equipment
and tools to get it repaired.

  In the interim, we have installed the N3HRT 146.775 MHz repeater at the
Hermanville site as a temporary replacement while the .64 repeater is
being fixed.  Please use that repeater as needed for normal
communications in the interim.  The .775 repeater requires sub-audible
tone access using a PL tone of 156.7 Hz to activate.

  Thank you for your understanding and we will advise all when the .64
machine is repaired and back on-line.
