Hi Folks,

  Just a quick reminder for those of you who haven't checked the St.
Mary's County Amateur Radio Association (SMCARA) web site lately
(http://www.qsl.net/smcara).  We will be holding our first meeting of
the new year this Thursday evening, beginning at 7:30 PM, at the Naval
Air Museum located just outside of Gate 1 of the Naval Air Station on
Route 235.  I will be demonstrating the features of the new Ten-Tec OMNI
VII HF transceiver, the world's first 'Net-Ready' ham radio with a
built-in ethernet jack that plugs directly into a broad-band router for
complete operation remotely from anywhere in the world.  Here is your
chance to see this excellent 'made-in-the-USA' product and try it out
for yourself.
