[SMCARA] SMCARA ham club meeting this Thursday evening, 7:30 PM

Hi Folks,

  Well, it's that time again... time to come over to the Naval Air Museum
and spend a few minutes with your friends and neighbors and share your ham
radio experiences during this past month.  I've just gotten back from
another week in the San Diego area of southern California, accompanied by my
trusty ICOM IC-92AD D-STAR digital hand held, and I had a lot of fun working
the digital modes all over the place.  So what did you do this month that
broadened your ham radio experiences?

  The club meeting will start promptly at 7:30 PM at the museum, located
just north of the Pegg Road/Route 235 intersection by gate 1 of the Naval
Air Station.  We'll be in the meeting room just inside the museum.

  Also, if you haven't already done so, please remember that this is our
once a year membership drive where we ask you to support your local ham
radio club by joining/renewing your membership.  It isn't much money but it
really helps us fund the various group activities we participate in
including Field Day, support to the museum amateur radio station, and our
own K3HKI 2-meter amateur radio repeater.  Thanks again for your support!
