[SMCARA] SMCARA ham radio club meeting THIS Thursday evening!

Hi Folks,

  Well, we aren't going to forget to come to the club meeting this month, by
golly!  Please plan now to join us for the September 2007 meeting of the St.
Mary's County Amateur Radio Association (SMCARA).  The meeting will be held
this Thursday, 27 September beginning at 7:30 PM in the conference room of
the Naval Air Museum.  The museum is located 50 yards north of the Gate 1
intersection of Pegg Road and Maryland Route 235.  Look for the unpaved
parking lots! (They tell me that the museum parking lots will be paved in
the next few days, if not already).  Construction of the new museum building
is about to begin.

  If you have obtained a new or used ham radio toy (transceiver, accessory,
etc.), consider bringing it out to the meeting and showing it off to your
friends and fellow HR enthusiasts.  We all want to see what's new in the
hobby.

  Want to have dinner before the meeting?  Come on out to the 'Bon Buffet'
restaurant in Millison Plaza in Lexington Park (next to the Suburban Tire
store) at 6 PM and join us for an hour of food and discussion.  No host
event (that mean's you pay the approximate $8 for an all-you-can-eat
dinner).  See you there.
