[SMCARA] Volunteers Needed for Tuesday ARES net

HI Everyone,

I want to check the simplex coverage across the County this Tuesday.  I need
your help.  I need a volunteer to go to their local firehouse parking lot
and check-in to the ARES net Tuesday at 19:30.  Once everyone is checked in
we will go simplex and check coverage at different power settings using
mobile and hand held transceivers.  You need to have a mobile rig and an HT
if you have one.  I don't want people driving any farther then they have
too.  Please respond to this email and let me know which two firehouses are
closest to your location and I'll contact you.  I'll need the name of the
firehouses and distance from your location.   I'm sure more than one person
will indicate the same firehouse.  I'll pick the Operator that is closest to
that firehouse and verify you assigned location.  I know this is short
notice.  If we don't get all the firehouses this week, we will get them next
week.

The St.Mary's County ARES net meets on 146.775 (PL 156.7) every Tuesday
evening at 19:30.  The ARES simplex frequency is 146.49.  If you are not
picked for an assignment please check-in anyway.  All amateurs are welcomed.
We give everyone a change to make comments and share ideas with the group.
