This is a reminder about the Marathon on Sunday. They have close to
300 runners signed up so this will be a big event this year! The
following individuals have volunteered to help out:
Dan - AA3TB
Tom - K3DSP
Ray - KB3FWW
Bill - KB4QAA
Paul - KB3NDS
It's not too late to step forward and help out!
The Red Cross chapter based out of Charles County will also be helping
out this year and will bring their communications vehicles. We will
probably do some inter-operation exercises with them while we have the
opportunity.
There will be a volunteer meeting on Saturday, March 10, 4:00 p.m. at Harry
Lundeberg School, in the auditorium of the Paul Hall Center. All
volunteers for the event are encouraged to attend. I will be in
Salisbury on Saturday so I will not be able to make it, but please
feel free to attend the meeting.
*** VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER ***
Daylight savings time begins at 2:00AM on Sunday, the day of the
Marathon, so don't forget to set your clocks forward before going to
bed! The first wave of runners will depart at 7:00AM. I am going to
plan to arrive about 6:00AM.
I will send out another reminder later in the week.
