I received this today.

Hello everyone.

Earlier this year, I assumed the position of Subnet Coordinator of the
Southern Maryland Skywarn Subnet. In attempts to get our skywarn program
back up to par, I am scheduling a meeting for ALL skywarn operators on
Tuesday August 28th, at 7pm.

Since the Southern Maryland Skywarn Subnet area consists of Calvert,
Charles, St. Mary's and Prince George counties, all of the aforementioned
are encouraged to attend. The purpose of this meeting is two fold.

1. I want to assign several assistant subnet coordinators as well as net
controls and list them in a call out tree format.

2. Randy Sly W4XJ (Skywarn Amateur Radio Coordinator for the National
Weather Service) will be attending to teach a short net control class. Those
attending will be able to run the net if skywarn is activated.

I would like to see as many skywarn operators as possible. If you know
someone that is not on this list, or feel that another "group" might be
interested, please forward this along. As always, I will have coffee and
donuts for everyone. Please email me if you have any questions about this
meeting.

I am requesting a confirmation email from everyone that intends on
attending. This will allow me to manage the classroom and of course buy
enough caffeine and donuts! =)
