[SMCARA] ARES Net This Tuesday

All,
There will be a St Mary’s County ARES net this
Tuesday, 6/13 at 6:30PM on the 146.640 machine. All
hams are encouraged to check-in and participate.  One
of the goals of the net is to have the hams check-in
with emergency power and/or a portable station
whenever possible.  When you check-in to the net,
please advise your location and what type of power &
station you’re running.  The priority is to check-in
regardless of what type of station you are using!

I am in the process of building a roster of members
who are interested in joining the ARES team. I have a
few people on the roster already and need to add more
to the list. Please shoot me an email if you would
like to become a member of the team, I have an
application that I will mail back to you.  I know
spare time is a rare thing these days but I promise
being a member of the team will not take up a lot of
your time.
