[SMCARA] SMCARA meeting - Thursday, 27 July 2006

Folks,

  The monthly meeting for July of the St. Mary's County Amateur Radio
Association (SMCARA) will be held this Thursday, 27 July beginning at 7:30
PM at the Naval Air Museum in Lexington Park (on northbound Rt. 235 by Gate
#1 of the Naval Air Station).

  Vice-President, Tom Clarke (W4OKW) will be leading this meeting as your
President will be running the sound system at Great Mills High School for
opening night of the Recreation & Parks Summer Musical "Guys and Dolls"
beginning at 7 PM (a great show if anyone wishes to attend... the show will
be held at 7 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings; a 1 PM matinee
showing on Saturday and the final show will be on Sunday at 5 PM).

  We hope to see as many of you as possible at the meeting on Thursday.  Tom
will be discussing the Field Day results; the order status on the new
repeater controller for the club-owned 2-meter K3HKI repeater; and talking
about the scheduled upcoming swap meet in August plus a summer picnic!
