[SMCARA] SMCARA meeting this Thursday is CANCELLED... please pass the word

Folks,

  Due to scheduling constraints beyond our control (both Tom Clarke and I
are on travel/working), the monthly meeting of the St. Mary's County Amateur
Radio Association previously scheduled for this Thursday evening, 23
February at 7:30 PM will be cancelled.  We will resume our normal schedule
with the next meeting being held on Thursday, March 23rd at the Naval Air
Museum.  Our guest speaker for that meeting will be Dan Hatcher (KD3CQ) who
will fill us in on the annual amateur radio lighthouse operating event in
April where we hope to activate the Naval Air Museum station (K3NHK) to
represent the Cedar Point Light cupola that is located on the museum
grounds.  This cupola is on the master listing of registered lighthouses.

  Again, Tom and I apologize for any inconvenience that this cancellation
may cause.  Don't forget that you are invited to go and operate the station
at the museum any day it is open (Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM) and
help keep it active.  If you have any questions about operating issues,
please contact Tom, AJ Farmer or myself and we will be happy to give you an
introduction to the equipment and/or discuss procedures.  As always, have a
fun month with amateur radio and we look forward to seeing all of you in
March at the next meeting.
