[SMCARA] ARES, RACES and REACT Credentialing

Attention:

All St. Mary's County ARES, RACES and REACT members.

The St. Mary's County Government is providing credentials for
 registered members of the above groups.  The credentials will
be required to travel the roads in the County to support emergency
communications during times of activation.

This would be a good time for any amateur radio operation to apply
for RACES or ARES.  Your help will be greatly appreciated by your
local government and a valuable service to your community.

To apply for RACES, stop by the Emergency Operations center in
Leonardtown or visit the St. Mary's RACES or REACT page at
www.somdscan.com/races.  To apply for ARES visit the ARRL site at
www.arrl.org

The date and time for picture taking for your credentials is scheduled for
Thursday, January 12th, 2006 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m..  Please contact
