[SMCARA] ARES Net Tonight

All,
 This is a reminder of the ARES net that will take
place tonight (8/22) at 6:30PM on the 146.64 repeater.
I am out of town and won’t be back tonight in time to
run the net so Ray(KB3FWW), has graciously offered to
run it, thanks Ray! 

Starting in Sep, we will begin the new schedule of
holding the nets the first & third Tuesday of the
month. That means our next net will be held on 9/5. 

On a different note, the nationwide Simulated
Emergency Test (SET) will be taking place this year on
7 Oct. Hopefully a number of you will be available
that day as we will have a lot going on. This is a
great time to put your equipment and skills to good
use and to show the local agencies the level of
communications support we are capable of providing.
