[SMCARA] St. Mary's County Amateur Radio Assn. MEETING & EXHIBIT DEDICATION - Thursday, 22 Sept. @ 7:30 PM

Hello Folks!

  Please consider taking a few minutes this week to come to the September
meeting of the SMCARA.  It's at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum this
THURSDAY (tomorrow evening), beginning at 7:30 PM.

  We will be doing the following:

  - Dedicating the new museum exhibit and formal operations of K3NHK, our
permanent museum amateur radio station

  - Watching the brand-new, just completed FIELD DAY 2005 video filmed and
edited by yours truly (we hope to add this to the display rotation in a week
or so) - find out if you are in the film! (HINT:  If you didn't show up at
Field Day this year... YOU AREN'T IN IT!!!)

  - Eating some cake and ice cream!

  - Operating the new exhibit radio station... who'll make the longest
distance contact tomorrow evening?

  - Discussing some of the possible planned ideas for further improving the
exhibit

  Don't be left-out!  Come on down to the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum
(northbound side of Rt. 235 in Lexington Park, 200 yards north of Gate #1 of
the Naval Air Station by the Pegg Road traffic light).  See what your other
members have been doing this past month.

  I hope to see all of you there to help us cut the cake!
