[SMCARA] marathon meeting today

 Well all, the meeting went well and as always the
last min. questions and then the answers.
  At present the locations for the radio support
operators are as follows:
  The turn around close to rt 5 is AJ  AJ3U
  the intersection of 244 and 249 Dave  N3YZU
  Happyland rd  Dan AA3TB
 Tall timbers rd   Duayne N6RBA
 AT school in comm van  Larry, Ray, and Gary NET
CONTROL
  At the bridge where the boat ramp is  Tom K K3DSP

If there are others that show please go to the school
go in the gate thats between the 2 dorms its set back
in some from  249. Go to the van it is located in the
right parkin lot. We can get you loacated from there.
 In ref to emergencys ; if there is a life threatning
situation ,heart attack, runner struck by a vehicle
,try to use  your cell and call 911 then call by radio
back to the van and we can alert the folk at the
school.
  Any other situations call back to the van and there
will be a vehicle/ ambulance sent out.If you can use
the cell for 911 ok but be sure to call to the van as
we need to know the situation what ever it is.
  Some  suggestions for those that are out on
locations
 1: warm but comfortable clothing and gloves 
 2: be sure to have at least 1/2 tank gas before you
are on station, gas stations dwn there may not be
open.
 3: if you have a portable HT, that may be helpfull if
out of your vehicle.  
 4:  stick around after the run and get some grub/chow
at the school they have invited us for that.
