Thanks for the pictures from AJ!  Congrats on the satellite success!

We all had a great time and the wx was perfect.  Between the fans 
and the "Off" we kept the skeeters at bay!

Gene's new military mast for the beam was a sight to behold.  Sure beats
wrestling with the Rohn 25 from years past!

Did everyone have a chance to see Ren's nifty emergency station? Battery
powered, nice and compact, and the antenna was a real work of art.

20 meters was the best band and the higher bands, 10 and 15, were pretty 
sad, although we "mined" a lot of points on six meters, the magic band!

Our "CW Meister", Dave, harvested a lot of points using that mode.  Leno
doesn't have anything on us!

Once again the club pulls together for a fun event!  Thanks everyone!

Anyone else still have "CQ Field Day" ringing in their ears?

I had a great time at Field Day again this year and I hope everyone else did
too!

I'd like to thank Bill Merritt and Tom Clarke for all of their last minute
coordination work.  You really pulled everything together!  Thanks!

I'd also like to thank Ray for bringing the grill and grilling up the
burgers and dogs to keep us going.  And, of course, Pete's famous Sunday
morning Field Day breakfast was great.  That is always a treat for the all
nighters and early risers.  Four guys that made it through the night enjoyed
a nice breakfast and were out cold within 30 minutes!!

Gene, thanks for securing the site again for yet another year and Garner,
for coordinating the tent and providing the HF beam.  We all appreciate
it!!!  I could keep going...  Everyone contributed something which made this
event great once again.

And yes, the satellite jinx has finally been broken.  For those that
witnessed the failures on Saturday afternoon, you missed the THREE
successful satellite contacts that happened late Saturday night and Sunday
morning!!  Thanks for all the encouragement, ideas, and even the taunting!!
It all worked it out in the end!

I've been checking out some other club's field day pictures over the past
couple of days and I really can see how fortunate we are.  We really do have
a great site and a great group of hams here in good ol' St. Mary's.  I can't
wait until next year.
