... Winter Weather Advisory Remains In Effect Until Noon EST Sunday... 

The National Weather Service In Sterling Virginia Continues A Winter Weather Advisory For Northern Virginia... Maryland West Of The Chesapeake Bay... The Eastern West Virginia Panhandle And The District Of Columbia Through Noon Sunday. 

A Mixture Of Snow And Sleet Will Continue Across The Area Through Around Midnight. During The Early Morning Hours... The Precipitation Is Expected To Change To A Mixture Of Sleet And Freezing Rain. Around An Inch Of Snow And Sleet Accumulation Can Be Expected And Up To A Tenth Of An Inch Of Ice Is Expected From The Freezing Rain. 

Over North Central And Northeast Maryland... Where Precipitation Is Expected To Remain Mainly In The Form Of Snow And Sleet One To Two Inches Of Accumulation Is Expected With Little Freezing Rain Expected. 

Over Southern Maryland... Snow Sleet And Freezing Rain Can Be Expected Overnight. Accumulations Of Snow And Sleet Are Expected To Be An Less Than An Inch Before Precipitation Changes To A Mixture Of Sleet And Freezing Rain. Toward Sunrise... Temperatures Are Expected To Climb Above Freezing... Changing Precipitation To The Form Of Rain. Up To A Tenth Of An Inch Of Ice Is Possible Before Temperatures Climb Above Freezing. 

A Brief Period Of Snow Is Possible Before All Precipitation Comes To And End During The Day Sunday. 

Motorists Are Urged To Exercise Caution While Driving Tonight And Early Sunday. Untreated Surfaces Will Be Slick And Hazardous. Slow Down And Allow Extra Time To Reach Your Destination.
