I wanted to send out an email to test my email list
account and to introduce myself. My name is Rob Hoyt,
N2OMC and I recently moved from Waldorf to Lexington
Park. I have been a ham since 1988 and hold an Extra
class license. I operate mostly HF, VHF and UHF voice.
I have owned a Swan 500 as my HF rig for 15 years and
have made 1,000's of contacts on it with a couple of
dipoles.   I enjoy working contests and special event
stations. Over the years, I have operated from New
Mexico, New York, England and here in MD. 

I look forward to getting involved with the local club
and operating from the "true" Southern Maryland. I am
in the process of setting-up the station in a second
floor apartment. VHF is on the air, HF next.
