Congrats to Garner Hayden, W3SI who worked Bill McArthur onboard the
International Space Station just the other day!

Bill McArthur continues to be extremely active on voice. He seems to
get on the radio at every opportunity. Right now is one of the best
opportunities to work an astronaut in space. You don't need any
special equipment! Here's how:

Set up a memory location in your mobile rig to receive on 145.80 and
transmit on 144.99 and keep it active in your scan list. The ISS
amateur equipment either operates in packet mode or voice mode. If
you hear voice, wait for a break in the pileup and give NA1SS a call!
Do the same with your home rig. Even if you hear packet, it is neat
to know that the space station is overhead. It's kind of like an ISS
"radar detector".

You can see the current location of the ISS and other satellites and
run pass predictions at the AMSAT website here:

Good job, Garner!
