To All Foundation Clubs and their members. -Clubs please pass on to your
members.-

The Historical Electronics Museum Amateur Radio Club invites you to a
special program.

How do you build  broadcasting system using  dozens of shortwave
transmitters all over the world and provide material that gives a true and
accurate view of America in all the major and many minor
languages?

Alan Heil, the author of 'Voice of America: A History,' will present an
insider's view of the building of such a network from the first VOA owned
transmitter site in West Chester, Ohio during World War II
through the cold war years and to today's VOA programming to peoples in
remote countries all over the world.

Mr. Heil will have personally autographed copies of his book for sale after
his presentation.

Location:  The Historical Electronic Museum, Pioneer Hall
Date:      Thursday April 8, 2004
Time:      7:00 PM.
Location:  The Museum is located at the corner of
            Nursery Road and Elkridge Landing Road in
            Linthicum, Maryland (Adjacent to the BWI
            Marriott Hotel) near Baltimore.
