Folks,

  I am pleased to invite you to our January 2004 meeting
of the St. Mary's County Amateur Radio Association. This
meeting will be held this Thursday evening, 22 January
beginning at 7:30 PM at the Naval Air Museum just north
of Gate 1 of the Naval Air Station.  Directions can be

  Our Guest Speaker for the evening will be Gene Talley,
N3NO, who will be discussing the use of computerized
logging programs to aid in the enjoyment of the hobby.
Gene will be demonstrating one of those programs so you
can see how it actually works.  If you have never tried
one of these software programs, now is the chance to hear
actual user comments on the pros and cons.  Gene uses
these programs regularly in his day-to-day hamming and
I'm sure you will learn some valuable tips.

  Please consider coming out on Thursday to the meeting.
If you haven't been to the museum lately, this is your
chance to see the latest exhibits and hear about the status
of our planned club station and ham radio exhibit at the
museum.
