Tom opened the meeting and welcomed Eric, KB9ERX. The treasurer and =
secretary were not available to present reports. The secretary was =
attending the TPS reunion that was also being held in the museum, and =
allowed that the food and drink were better at the reunion and chose =
that venue!!
The main topic of discussion was Field Day. We discussed the choice of =
3A or 4A and decided to make the choice on FD based on participation =
expected. The following issues were discussed and volunteer/assignments =
were made:
* Press release- Bill, KB4QAA showed us the proposed release and will =
get it to the local media. He will also provide literature for a =
display table.
* Family Picnic- 6 PM on Saturday. Garner has previously volunteered =
to coordinate club-supplied food. Tom and Grant will coordinate "pot =
luck" items.
* Pete has previously volunteered to provide power conditioning and =
cables, coax, ice water, grills, etc. Tent needs to be confirmed.
* Laptops, APRS, PSK31, and HF rigs from Mars station.
* Beam and tower- Garner
* Wire antennas - Tom Kunkel K3DSP and Fred Stovall
* Generator/Bazooka antenna - Tom Kunkel
* Antron 10 M antenna - Dave N3YZU
* NTS message - Ren
* Extra credit/scoring/submission - Grant
Items remaining:
* CW station- we need volunteers to operate a CW position. If we have =
a fully manned CW position, we plan to operate 4A ( a CW station, a =
PSK/RTTY/VHF station and two voice stations).

* Rules briefing- Grant will provide info and brief at May or June =
