Hi Folks,

  The May meeting of the St. Mary's County Amateur Radio
Association (SMCARA) will be held this Thursday evening,
22 May, beginning at 7:30 PM sharp, at the Naval Air Museum
next to gate 1 of the Naval Air Station.

  We will be discussing, in more detail, the topic of
establishing an operating ham station at the museum as a
club summer project as part of an overall exhibit on ham
radio and it's support of aviation development, MARS and
space shuttle/station communications for education.

  I hope to see as many of you as possible.  If we have
time, we need to spend a few minutes discussing the upcoming
Field Day operations in June and plans for a swapfest in
July.
