[SMCARA] SMCARA club meeting this Thursday (23 January, 7:30 AM) - Naval Air Museum

Folks,

  Just a quick reminder that our monthly meeting of the
St. Mary's County Amateur Radio Association (SMCARA) will
be held this Thursday evening, beginning at 7:30 PM, at
the Naval Air Museum.  The museum is located on the right
(northbound) side of Route 235, about 100 yards north of
the NAS Gate #1 traffic light at Pegg's Road and 235.

  Our special guest speaker will be Mr. Thomas Abernethy,
W3TOM, the Maryland/DC Section Manager who will be addressing
ARRL matters and taking questions.  This should prove to
be a very interesting meeting!  I hope to see all of you
at the museum for a great meeting.

additional information about recent happenings in the local
amateur radio scene.  The site is undergoing an extensive
updating and you will be able to see some of those changes
now.
