Good Morning:
You are receiving this e-mail because you are registered on the OKARK
SKYWARN website as a spotter, emergency management employee/volunteer or

The threat for severe weather is in the forecast for Sunday afternoon and
evening in the eastern 2/3s of the Tulsa NWS County Watch Area (CWA).
Storm Prediction Center has issued a Public Severe Weather Outlook
calling todays event an extremely dangerous situation.
Storms are expected to fire in the area in the early afternoon hours.
Net Control Operators for Sunday: Merlin Griffin and Tom Shaw plus a
logger will kick things off - thus far. If you are a NCO and are
available, your help is needed today. Contact Kelly Baker immediately if
you can make yourself available Pager 634-7401 Cell 906-7102.
I encourage you to consider spotting today, as coverage will be needed
across the CWA. Included in the links I have provided below, are
frequencies for use in reporting severe weather to the NWS in Tulsa
(WX5TUL).
Im looking forward to hearing your reports over the next 12 hours.
Thank you,
Steve Miller
