[Skywarn] Help w/Davis Vantage Pro

I recently purchased a Davis Vantage Pro wireless weather station.
Lately I've been having a problem, in the mornings all of my outside
sensors read ----- and I receive a loss of signal icon. After the sun
comes up everything returns to normal. I contacted Tech support and they
stated it was RFI. I felt it was a dead battery and when the solar panel
had ampel light everything would work as normal. I changed the battery
and I'm still having the same problem. As for RFI there is none.
Distance from the transmitter to the receiver is ~25 feet. 

Has anyone on the list experienced the same problem ?  If so what was
the fix.
