Ai voice / synthesize voice is used on Public safety frequencies ie : “Dispatching “ along with several  “other applications”  that fall under the all mighty FCC control ..Ham radio hobby is an ever evolving concept in its own self . With experimentation / development/ research  etc. that is going on daily in several different directions within this Hobby . ..as “change” disagrees with some ,but maybe it should be embraced in order for the hobby to advance…

In my ever so humble opinion ... The Commission wouldn't be all that happy with an AI on the air on amateur frequencies.

Repeaters identify using a synthesized voice, but that's canned with a limited vocabulary. It won't say something it should not.  An AI is going to say whatever is on the script.
