In honor of the recent UN World Radio Day.
Tonight KPIX Ch.5 San Francisco is presenting a special report featuring our favorite vintage communications group... The California Historical Radio Society at Radio Central in Alameda, CA. Veteran KPIX News Anchor and Reporter Brian Hackney has produced a terrific feature about CHRS, Radio Central and the importance of modern communications; with radio being the thread that ties these mediums together. The story features CHRS Executive Director Rachel Lee, CHRS Board of Directors Chairman Philip Monego and CHRS Director / Project Manager Steve Kushman.
