Hook a commercial am broadcast processor to this and it will sound every bit as good as a commercial am station. Depending on local noise floor, ground conductivity, installation and grounding, 3000 ft range is not unheard of when using the external atu / whip combo. About 300 ft range is typical with the 3m backnof transmitter wire antenna.
