Hello everyone!
The Severe Weather Network is pleased to announce that as of Wed 02/07/24, the 1300
Weather Outlook Net has resumed airing in the Colorado Severe Weather Room. [For more information, visit the Colorado Digital Multiprotocol group and the XLX303 Reflector at
https://coloradodigital.net/.] We are grateful to them for hosting the CO Severe Wx Room at XLX303A.
Many thanks to Jimi N7VDR, Josh KF0LPT, and Jake N9KRG for their expertise and hard work on Tuesday as they completely rebuilt the bridge between SHL and XLX303A. They also took a lot of time to go through audio settings on all of the modes (digital/analog)
and achieved a balance and quality—better than ever before! It was tested yesterday and today with 100%
success.
As a result of their work and the upgrade, I can now use the NC2WX Skywarn repeater in Pueblo as the flagship for ALL weather operations. This, in turn, is making operations much more efficient across Skyhublink, as well as other systems and repeaters.
This is an amazing collaboration between the engineers at ColoDigital and engineers
at the Skyhublink System [visit
https://skyhublink.com/wx-net/.] Many thanks to Skyhublink for the use of its myriad repeaters, and its weather net hub for the linking capability during weather operations.
Here's to a bright future as we serve the NWS in public safety!
73,
Gary Maier NC2WX
