Congratulations to Jon Poindexter W5ALC of Pueblo for his recent completion of THREE weather-related courses! Jon is now a certified Skywarn spotter, having taken both the Basic and Advanced classes with NWS Pueblo. He also completed the Comet MetEd UCAR training course “Role of the Skywarn Spotter” and “Skywarn Spotter Convective Basics”. This education and resultant understanding will certainly make Jon a highly-valued storm spotter in the Pueblo WFO region and anywhere he encounters severe weather.
