Roof replacement for the repeater site at Baculite Mesa, Pueblo, is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th,, 8AM. This is weather dependent but mid-Sept is usually nice. Those with longer drive times aren’t expected to be there 8am sharp. Do the best you can.

The site is crucial to regional Severe Weather Network operations, the SkyHubLink system, and the Cheyenne Mountain Repeater Group. To support this, many improvements have been made to the building and its equipment during the past two years. Now, we need to get the weather-proof metal roof installed to protect everything.

We need 2-4 more volunteers so that no one is on the roof too long (gentle 4-12 pitch). GREAT NEWS! Bryan K6SKI and Michelle WE3S plan to bring their camper, making things much more pleasant!

To volunteer, email Gary at [email protected]. An updated file explaining the project and basic procedure will be sent out. THANKS!
