Greetings again every one,
We still are not getting any volunteers to help as for the roof project on the repeater building down at the pueblo repeater site. This is something that we cannot do it alone & we really need YOU & 3 other able-bodied folks to help Gary and Earl down there. It is totally understandable that we’re all very busy, but in this case we really need someone to come forward. All of us it are working hard to keep the system running and cannot do it alone. This will be a fun project, plus we’ve had so many of you say “let us know how we can help”. I am so sorry to be sending out these emails but we have the funds to do the job to obtain the materials and Gary and Earl have been working so hard to get all of this in place.
Please folks, remember that this is your repeater system. There are just a few of us who work literally every day to keep it running. Please feel free to call me on the telephone or contact Gary if there’s anyway you could help with this on a Saturday. We really need to protect the equipment down there, and this should take care of this issue for the long-term future.
All we need to accomplish this is you and three other volunteers. Gary and Earl will be there to cut materials and direct. It would be a fun day, and you get to see a really awesome repeater and tower site. Plus it’s not remote upon some high mountaintop but easily accessible on the NE side of Pueblo, 4wheel drive is not necessary.
