Greetings all,

It is time again to try to fund raise for the following SkyHubLink projects:

We want to move the Fusion Wires-X repeater in Colorado Springs from the KRDO offices/small tower to Gardner Rock where the analog 449.850 repeater is located.  We have permission to do that from the site owner and it will great increase the Wires-X coverage over the Springs and beyond, similar to the Analog repeater.  This will incur NO COST at all!

To accomplish this we are going to use a microwave set of linked radios to go from our generously donated internet connection from Galvanized Endeavors Tower company up to the site and this will accomplish bringing internet directly to BOTH the repeaters and eliminate having to use node radios for linking and will also allow direct internet control of the repeaters themselves.

The second project will be the installation of an AC unit at the Baculite Tower “hamshack” building in Pueblo.  We have the replacement repeater units needed that were donated as you may or may not know we lost the power amplifier for the Pueblo analog repeater.  The Wires-X repeater is down due to the high temperatures in the building during the summer.  This donation run will also help to offset some of the electric bill that we are incurring from being on this site.  Once again Galvanized Endeavors has donated the tower space, “hamshack” repeater building and most of the electricity that we use.  However we need to help with the part of the electric bill that will go up with the use of the air conditioner.

So, with that, we are asking for 80 of you for a $10 one time donation to SkyHubLink.  You can do so here: https://skyhublink.com/support/

Any other amounts would be great too!  😊

This will also help pay for a few parts needed, including the final power output transistor for the Laramie/Cheyenne Pilot Hill Fusion/Wires-X repeater.  We also lost the Wires-X controlling computer for that repeater and we already have had the donation of a replacement computer!  THANK YOU to the Ham operator who donated that computer!

Thanks for any help!  We are working hard to keep the system up and operational for all of us!
