Hi, I’m Becky, VP of the Rocky Mountain Radio League.  The 449.450 has excellent coverage, as it is on Mount Mesta’ëhehe (formerly known as Squaw Mountain).

To give you an idea, here is the coverage map for the 146.94 repeater, also on formerly Squaw Mountain:

I double-checked with our Chief Technical Officer, and the coverage should be similar unless you are in a really low spot.

Although not connected to Skyhub, you might have good luck connecting with the 146.94 repeater to talk with others in the Denver Metro area.

Becky, KD0AOE

Subject: [SkyHub] Coverage of the .450

Hi all,

We are planning to camp this coming weekend south of Highlands Ranch and north of Sedalia.  Wondering how good of coverage the 449.450 has on the south side of the metro area.  Thanks everyone

John, WN6OTL
