We had 26 checkins tonight, including 6 new ones.
Talked about the Perseid Meteor Shower now ongoing, with peak in the early hours of Wednesday and Thursday mornings between midnight and dawn. The best meteor shower of the the year for northern hemisphere observers. Some meteors visible on the evenings as well and over the next week, you will still see some. Get out of the cities if you can, or just turn out the lights and throw a blanket on the ground in the back yard and look up. Take the kids out and count them. Love to hear from any one who goes out to look. You don't have to be an astronomer to enjoy this family event.
