We had 24 checkins tonight, including 1 new one.
The Perseid meteor shower is ongoing right now. It peaks Aug 13 around 0300 EDT.
Any clear night between now and then and even a week or so afterwards is a good
time to spot some of the best meteor activity of the year.
You do not need any special equipment, except a comfy lounge chair and maybe a blanket.
Look away from city lights and enjoy from evening, after dark until sunrise.
Make this a family/neighborhood event on clear evenings.
I'd love to hear your comments of what you see, preferably on the net, but you may
certainly send an email.
I appreciate everyone's support.
Tnx & 73,
Keep looking up!
Burness
