Hello all,
 As I am sure you are aware, Amanda Alden, K1DDN, was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of St. Francis Hospital over the weekend with acute pneumonia. After several days in the ICU, I am happy to report that she is improving and has return home but is on oxygen support and not completely out of the woods yet.
 As we all know, even the best insurance in the world does not cover all of the expenses related to high level critical care such as Amanda required. There will be thousands of dollars in uninsured medical expenses facing Amanda and Jeff. It’s time for all of us to reach into our pockets and help out.
 I have setup a Go Fund Me page to assist with these expenses. https://gofund.me/77ecf329 I will act as trustee of the funds through The Law Center P.C. so that you can be sure the 100% of the contributions go to pay uninsured medical expenses. God willing that there are excess funds, those will ultimately be donated to an amateur radio related 501(c)(3) once we are sure all uninsured expenses are covered.
 Amanda and Jeff have contributed so much to the ham radio community. This is our opportunity to give something back to them. Please give what you can, and thanks for your generosity.
