Greetings all, while not an amateur radio topic, this may be of interest to you whether you ride a motorcycle or not. I would want to go but will be out of town that weekend.

Riders in the Light of the Christian Motorcycle Association is organizing an Accident Scene Management Class in the Denver metro area on June 25th. This will be run by Mark at Accident Scene Management whose purpose it to (1) reduce injuries and fatalities at the scene of motor vehicle crashes, (2)Reduce rescuer injury at the scene of a crash and (3) enhance the effectiveness of the EMS by having trained bystanders tend to the injured until professional help arrives.

This is an 8 hour class that costs $40/person (includes breakfast and lunch). This 100 level class contains all of the information you need to respond to a trauma scene.

We heard about this incredible organization at the Motorcycle Awareness Day run (May 14) which was hosted by Biker Down. Many of us have come across individuals who have gone down and isn't it important for us to know what to do to help them in their time of need? We can be the hands and feet of Jesus in this moment.

We are still working on a location but it will be in the Denver metro area.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Blessings,
Leslie Hooks
