Looks like the connection timed out:

I just tried pinging that IP and also tried connecting on port 25. Both
timed out.

Testing with mxtoolbox, the connection time was 11.343 seconds, which is
pretty long. It then took another 11.936 seconds to do the SMTP
transaction. The server MAY be doing "tarpitting" to slow down and
discourage spammers, but it is apparently timing out the mailing list
server. Failed emails are normally retried for 5 days, so perhaps it will
go through eventually. Or the server may get faster (it might be under a
heavy load right now).
