Subject: n0km/rpt 447.100 status
Hey Jack,
My allstar nodes and hotspots are off-line because my ISP made me switch routers today without giving me advanced notice.
Hope to have the hotspots back up, but the allstar nodes will wait until in the morning. This also knocked my IP phone off-line.
At least email is back up. Hope this change will solve my
port-forwarding issue I've had since moving off of satellite internet.
Anyway, I thought I would move from 447.100 to n0km/R 146.64 once we are
running on 449.625. I'll need to change transmitters for the 146.64
machine, as the current transmitter is a Maxtrac that gets hot and
powers down after a couple of minutes, even with a couple of fans on
it. Will probably go with either an M1225 or a Kenwood that the
receiver is shot.
Anyway, let me know what you decide on doing for getting the remote base
down here. I could even make it up to Fairplay if needed.
73,
Dave N
