Subject: [FrontRange6Meter] IC 7800 connection to WSJT
Hi all, I need help please...I am having no luck getting an Icom 7800 working with two different versions of WSJT, just tried version 2.5 and still get radio not accepting commands. Have tried two 7800s, two sets cables, two Icom CT17 serial convertors and two different computers all with the same result.
The "settings" drop down menu auto sets the comms parameters for the 7800 but I can't figure out why its not working...The CT 17 automatically attaches thru COM3. I tried N1MM contest prog. and it says Com 3 is not the correct port for 7800 address 6A, which is the designation Icom assigns to that radio.. I am out of ideas on this one, can anyone help?
Thanks for reading this..
Dave
