Yesterday was in the mountains all day without much internet.  I figured i'd send this your way now.  I am curious though what the thought of this would be since Ham is amatuer and can't be used for business purposes, is announcing a posting a gray area or is it just simply ok (or simply not ok from that stand point).  I've always been curious on how this particular rule works.  As I feel there are 2 categories of Ham operators, Retired and non-retired, retired I would venture to say the majority of the conversation is weather related, however on the non-retired folks I hear a good deal of work related chatter, but not work chatter.

I understand the difference of talking about work over the radio, and using the radio to complete work.  I just see lots of gray areas and so i'm asking a well seasoned Ham 😉
