Subject: kd0sbn Somewhere near Weston Node
Hi Jack,
Node frequency is 145.310 Simplex.
I went the long way around yesterday to check coverage.
Wet Canyon to Weston is pretty good in the canyon, with only a couple of dead spots.
Unfortunately, highway 12 from Weston to Trinidad is not great. Although, a repeater at the site on Fishers Peak might cove that area nicely, and my machine will may do better West on HWY112 from Weston to Cuchara. I will take a drive that way at some point to check.
However, Trinidad is pretty good, along I25 from Trinidad to Walsenburg is pretty good, and my guess is that it is pretty good for a ways East of I25 as well.
Also, FYI- I am working on a uhf coordination for Some where near Weston/Trinidad. Just to provide ground work for other possibilities.
