[SJRA-Members] Mort Mott POTA

[Terry Rossi]

The Gloucester County Amateur Radio Club (W2MMD) has a neat POTA activity coming up that may be worth the trip.
Revolutionary War POTA Special Event — Fort Mott State Park
Saturday & Sunday, September 26–27
Fort Mott State Park, Pennsville, NJ
GCARC is activating Fort Mott in conjunction with the park’s Historic Soldiers Weekend. They’re planning the POTA operation along with displays highlighting amateur-radio history, making this a nice combination of portable operating, public outreach, and living history.
Historic Soldiers Weekend runs 10 AM–5 PM Saturday and 10 AM–3 PM Sunday. GCARC also has an operator registration portal for anyone interested in participating in the activation.

If POTA and portable operating are your thing, this looks like a good opportunity to support one of our neighboring clubs.
