[SJRA-Members] QSLWorld

Humans have some innate desire to collect things, almost anything. For some people it's rocks, flowers, stamps, coins, Pokemon cards, telegraph keys, radios, artwork, guns, handbags, shoes, clothes, tools, plates, glasses, Christmas ornaments, etc. I think this is in our DNA. It probably goes back to gathering resources to survive; food, clothing, firewood, etc.
Not every ham is an award chaser. Some just like to collect QSLs, whether those are paper or electronic, even if they don't count toward the big awards. There are other less prestigious awards from sites like QRZ.com and eQSL that electronic QSLs count toward. Some hams like to display these on their QRZ page for example. It creates a sense of achievement and some minor recognition, even if it doesn't have the more rigorous certification routine the ARRL uses for the ARRL awards. Not everyone is an ARRL member either.
That said, there may be some dodgier electronic QSL sites so caveat emptor.

Why waste the effort using any method of QSO confirmation that is not accepted by the ARRL awards departments. LOTW and original printed QSL cards are the "gold standards" and the only methods that count. EQSL, QRZ.com, QSLWorld, and any other forms of confirmation are not considered to be 100% trusted.
