[SJRA-Members] Skywarn Recognition Day 2024

The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Mt. Holly, NJ will be
activated for Skywarn Recognition Day 2024, on December 6th and 7th (Friday
and Saturday). The event begins at 1900 Local on Friday and runs for 24
hours. We plan four operating positions:



HF 10, 15, 20, 40 meters SSB

VHF/UHF FM and the SCERN Network (C4FM)

Winlink

Echolink



Station setup will occur on Friday afternoon beginning at 1300 Local.

*Volunteers welcome. Operators welcome.*


NWS Forecast Offices around the Country will participate as well as weather
spotters and interested amateurs. This is a great chance to show off
amateur radio to the NWS. Come on in and become a ham ambassador. This is a
fun and casual event.

So we can schedule the Operators, throughout  the period, please contact

Please do not just show up at the office as we need to maintain a level of
security as this is a government installation.
