The King of Spain CW (EA CW) contest, YOTA (Youngsters On The Air) contest,
and Arkansas QSO party were held this weekend.
If you operated in any of these (or something else I missed), please send me
your score summaries so I can include them in the next Harmonics.
Special note to anyone who operated in the Arkansas QSO party:
--------------------------------------------------------------
N1MM+ and most other loggers will NOT calculate your score correctly.
This is because rover and portable stations count 2 pts per QSO instead of 1
(regardless of mode).
For example, if you worked K5CM or W5YO, they were setting up on county
border lines and you could work them in 2, 3, or 4 counties at the same time
in a single QSO
Each of these QSOs is then worth 2 points. I only made 16 total QSOs so it
was easy for me to calculate my score by hand.
The AR QP rules are here:
https://arkqp.com/arkansas-qso-party-rules/
If anyone worked a bunch of stations and wants help parsing their log and
recalculating, let me know and I can help you, or do it for you with Excel.
For Score Summaries please send:
Total QSOs, Total Multipliers, Total Score
As always, tall tales, big fish stories, comedies, tragedies, mysteries,
drama, intrigue, triumph, agony, glory, etc. are also welcome.
73,
