[SJRA-Members] Help for New Hams & Monthly Breakfast Reminder

I reported at the last meeting that the Board has been discussing the
possibility of starting a Boot Camp for newly minted hams  in an effort to
make your experience with the hobby more fun, exciting and less stressful.
We want to answer your questions! These informal classes would likely be
held only once a month and the topics will vary.

Initially I contacted only those members who held the Technician Class
license, but it occurred to me that some members may have taken two or even
three tests at once and therefore would not have received my earlier email.

The Board will be meeting in early October to discuss this topic and at
this point we are trying to gauge interest. A number of Technician
licensees have already responded indicating they would be very interested
in attending these free classes. They would be held once a month in a
location, day and time yet to be determined.

If you are interested please let me know no later than October 6th so that
we can begin to move forward.
