[SJRA-Members] Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) meeting Tuesday October 12 at 8:00 PM EDST

All, 

JOTA is this weekend on October 16th.

 

What is JOTA - Jamboree on the Air - 

Scouts everywhere will be on the air seek to talk to Amateur Radio
Operators, and other Scouts at other camp locations.

 

K2AA will be on the air from the Pine Hill Scout Reservation (in Pine Hill
NJ)

 

Bob K2UT will be heading up the operations on site. He needs help!!! Please
support him.

 

Another way of helping is to be on the air looking for scouts to talk to.
Both are important functions that will demonstrate amateur radio to young
scouts.

 

A WebEx meeting is Scheduled tomorrow PM to finalize the plans.

 

If you have an hours or two this weekend please come out and support our
club.
